#GIVINGSTALLION ON #GIVINGTUESDAY
We will kickoff our Holiday Give with a 24-hour day of giving, #GivingStallion, on the National Holiday of Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2015. What is #GivingTuesday? It is a national movement during the holidays dedicated to charitable giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are synonymous with holiday shopping.

Annual gifts to St. Francis DeSales High School  make up the ongoing financial support provided by alumni, parents, faculty and staff, parents of alumni, grandparents, and friends every year. These contributions provide a source of income for both the expected and the unexpected opportunities that surface throughout the year, and therefore are needed each fiscal year (July 1 through June 30.)  The school has two drives to support annual gifts: the first is the Holiday Give in December and the other in the spring with the Parent and Alumni Challenge.

You Choose where to designate the gift!
When you make a gift during the Holiday Give you are welcome to designate your gift to one of the following areas: Academics, Area of greatest need, Capital improvements, Scholarships, Technology, or Theology.

DAILY REFLECTION
It is not enough to say, "I want to save my soul." It is not enough to say, "I want to embrace the means suitable to arrive at eternal salvation." With absolute resolve we must will and embrace the graces God presents to us. God gives us the means of salvation; we must receive them just as we must desire salvation as God desires it for us and because His will desires it. (T.L.G. Book 8, Ch. 4; O. V, p. 70)
