Hesburgh Lecture Series
Inspired by the late Father Hesburgh's example of lifelong learning, the Hesburgh Lecture Series has brought University faculty to Notre Dame clubs and their local communities since 1986.
The series has grown and evolved over the years, and now includes more than 200 lectures by more than 100 faculty members each year. Topics represent the breadth and depth of Notre Dame's academic expertise, covering everything from architecture and the arts to business, the humanities, and the social sciences, as well as science, technology, engineering, and math.
Each lecture is presented in an accessible, easy-to-understand format for a general audience. Depending on which you attend, you might delve more deeply into current events, dive into sports or social media, or explore topics relating to ethics or health.
Tonight's topic - "What race is and what race is not"
