Stallions in the Spotlight

Congrats to the 2015 Homecoming Court. You were wonderful representatives of our school last weekend!

The Stallions for Life Club celebrated National Pro-Life chalk day last week, spreading their message on the front steps of the school.

Two seniors, Brenna Bookless and Spencer Ruebel, were recognized for attending Buckeye Girls State 2015 at Mount Union college by the American Legion Women's Auxiliary at Southway Post 144. They were presented with plaques by the President of Southway Post and their representative Mrs. Judy Danch.
National Testing Day

Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14, is National Testing Day. Juniors, sophomores and freshmen will be taking the PSAT (a different version of the PSAT will be given to each grade level).

Please note the following:
  • Students need to have TWO #2 lead pencils (no mechanical pencils) and their calculator for the test (leave iPads in locker). An email was sent to students listing all acceptable calculators.
  • There is no lunch service; please pack a snack.
  • Dismissal will be at 11:45 a.m.
  • There is no afternoon bus transportation; students need to find another way home.

Daily Reflection

Every morning, before doing anything else, you must beg God to give you gentleness of spirit, so necessary for souls pledged to His service, and resolve for your part to exercise it particularly toward those persons to whom you owe the most. If you do this you will be very happy, because God will live in the center of your heart, which will remain totally at peace. If, however, it happens that you fail in this matter, do not lose heart, but immediately step back into line, just as if you had never fallen. (Letters 1908; O. XXI, pp. 19 - 20)
