STALLION SPOTLIGHT
From June 18-22, Teens4Unity hosted a Service Week at St. Bruno Parish in Chicago. Seven of our students -- Anne Alex (one week before leaving for Germany!), Alyssa Gabriel, Julia Keating, Amanda Leichtnam, Matt Perri, Daijah Scott and Cleo Yeager -- and SFD guest Naomi Etgen, our Finance Director's daughter, attended and took part in various service projects throughout the city with 87 other teens from the Midwest. Projects included: visiting people with disabilities at a day center, playing games with the elderly in nursing homes, tutoring children at a learning center, cleaning up a park and an abandoned parking structure that is "home" to homeless people, and taking part in prison ministry. It was an amazing experience for our students and out-going Campus Ministry Director Ms. Balli.

Keep Ms. Balli, along with students Stephanie Franco-Serrano and Mike Martinez, in your prayers as they travel this Saturday, July 12, for a two-week camp and mission trip near Buenos Aires.

DAILY REFLECTION
Love is the life of our heart. Just as weights give movement to the movable parts of a clock, so love gives to the soul whatever movement it has. All our affections follow our love; when divine love reigns in our hearts, it tames sensual love, reduces it to obedience, and puts under its sway all sensual passions. In sum, the love of God is the saving water of which Our Lord has said, "...whoever drinks the water I give him will never be thirsty." [Jn. 4:14] (T.L.G. Book II, Ch. 20; O. V, p. 309)
