STALLIONS IN THE HEADLINES

On Tuesday, March 19, 36 seniors attended and participated in a discussion with Sandra Day O'Connor, the first female to serve on the US Supreme Court.

Members of the French Club (pictured left) encourage you to take a moment now to gather up your unwanted coupons and bring them in to school before spring break. Official collection boxes are located in the cafeteria and in front of the office, or you can put them in Mme Andrus's mailbox or give them to a French Club member. It is helpful if the coupons are cut apart, but it is not necessary; we will take all current or very recently expired manufacturers' coupons.

We are again supporting the U.S. Air Force base located in Lakenheath, United Kingdom.  The United States has approximately 5,500 active duty military members located at Lakenheath.  It is extremely difficult for the military spouses living overseas to find employment, and the cost of living in the UK is high for military families, so they really need and appreciate our help! To read more about Lakenheath, click here.  And, if you need additional information about the program or our coupon drive, be sure to let us know.  In the meantime, BRING THOSE COUPONS, PLEASE, for this extremely worthy cause. It's easy and it's free. Merci!!!

LIKE TO SEW?
The SFD Performing Arts department is in need of sewing and costuming help for the upcoming production of Hello Dolly.  If you are able to spare 1-3 hours per week to help make the performance a success we would greatly appreciate your help.  You do not need to be an expert seamstress, just someone who has a sewing machine and can sew a straight stitch.  If you would like to help but do not sew, there are items that need to be cut out and other miscellaneous tasks that need done.  Middle school and high school students interested in costuming are also encouraged to help.  We are in need to ribbon, lace, silk flowers, etc. to decorate hats and hair pieces for the show. Please contact Temple VanCuyk at 614-932-0818 or tavancuyk@yahoo.com  if you can help.
SPIRITUAL REFLECTION

So you want to know the best time to serve the Lord? It is the present time, which is in your possession here and now. The past is no longer yours; the future has not come yet and is uncertain. The best time is really the present, which you should spend in serving God. If you want to recover lost time, do your best, with fervor and diligence, in the time that still remains to you. (Sermons 16; O. IX, p. 132)
