STALLIONS IN THE HEADLINES

The following students were selected as December's Atlas Butler Award Winners: Ian Lawson, Cara Shaver, Keagan Lipak, and Tyler Moon (pictured below). These students will be featured in this month's issue of THIS WEEK COMMUNITY NEWSPAPERS, and have earned the school $250 for each classroom noted in the nomination. They will also receive White Castle Crave Party Pack coupons. 

Over Christmas break, senior Miranda Singer was chosen as the Columbus Dispatch Athlete of the Week for Bowling.

SFDHS had several winners in the Scholastic Art Awards. The 3 regional winners in photography were Sierra Mergliano, Amanda Ginikos, and Lizzy Saunders. Lizzy Saunders also received a Gold Key for her photo "Fish Guy." This piece will be in an exhibit at CCAD and go on to the National judging.

Applications for the scholarships offered through SFDHS are to be submitted to the Institutional Advancement Department by February 1, 2013. Please note: An online recommendation form must also be filled out prior to the February 1st deadline.

St. Francis DeSales Grant-in-Aid Program

All students planning to attend St. Francis DeSales High School for the 2013-2014 school year may also apply for tuition assistance directly from the school.  Funds are limited to families who have a demonstrated need and are only granted to those who complete the financial aid application and submit it with the required documents prior to the March 15, 2013 deadline.
