Matthew Davidson News ~ Nov. 25, 2013

Happy Thanksgiving! We have a lot to be thankful for, and if you are reading this newsletter, we're thankful for that! The Matthew Davidson Band has had a great year, being blessed with the opportunities to perform regionally at a variety of festivals and venues. Thanks to all of you who have either booked the band or attended shows. We appreciate your support!
Speaking of support....we could use your help in this "Grammy Amplifier" contest. Matthew will earn 10 points if you click either "Amplify with Facebook" or "Amplify with Twitter" HERE, and one more point if you play his track "Heartbreaker". Hope you can do both for the maximum 11 points from each person. (Ignore the 00:00 time left on the screen...that's not accurate). The contest runs through Dec. 10, but we hope you can help us out as soon as possible. Feel free to forward this email to your friends. Thank you!
Thanks to the Highland Jazz and Blues Festival for inviting The Matthew Davidson Band and Friends to perform! The band enjoyed having Riley Grisham (bass) , Paige Cox (vocals), and Jared Christian (saxophone) join them for this performance. They are all students at Caddo Magnet High School, as are Matthew, Kyle and Greg.

About Matthew Davidson -
"We were impressed with the band's performance, poise, and stage presence. And of course, Matthew's proficiency on the guitar! We'll be hearing more from him, I'm sure." ~Stephen Lundgren, Stage Manager, 2013 Louisiana Seafood Festival
"Having been in the recording business for so many years and with so many great artists, I can honestly say that this young man, Matthew Davidson, has all the makings of a Superstar artist. It'll be a pleasure to watch him become that Superstar." ~Hal Blaine, legendary "Wrecking Crew" drummer and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame who played on numerous hit records of the 60's - 70's
"The next generation of stars in Louisiana...Matthew Davidson...14 years old from Shreveport, Louisiana. He is going to be something special. He is right now and he's going to be in the future. You know, you look at Matthew and you think about Hunter Hayes, who Louisiana has watched grow up over the years...(3 Grammy nominations for him this year), so...the future of Louisiana music is in good hands." ~Louisiana Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne, Louisiana Public Broadcasting - December 2012
