Current Data Collections

PIN Benchmarking
Q2-2015 Benchmarking data submission is open now through August 17th.  This will be a strict deadline so that we can get the required measures into MBQIP timely. Previous quarter reports are posted to the MHA Data Portal.  Instructions to access the Data Portal are below.

Please delete any data collection tool files you have.  The data submission tool is typically has clarifications on a quarterly basis while we continue to get measures nailed down.

We strongly encourage participation in as many measures as you can report.

 Data Submission Options

  1. Online via the PIN Website (recommended)
  2. Download the excel or PDF version from the PIN Website and email to Jen (Jennifer@mtha.org)
  3. Fax to ATTN: Jen at 406-443-3894

ED Transfer Clinical Improvement Study - Remeasurement

21 out of the 48 CAHs submitted deep dive data, 13 of the 48 submitted high level data via PIN Benchmarking. Performance improvement for this study is complete and PI interventions should be in place.

Remeasurement data collection began July 1 and is for Q2-2015 cases.  Data is due by August 17th.

You may access the data collection tools and online data submission on the PIN Website.

PIN Benchmarking counts: by reporting Quarter 2, 2015 ED Transfer Communications core measures to the PIN Benchmarking project, you are reporting outcomes on the ED Transfer measures. This method will not allow you to see your improvement on each sub-measure, but will still count for participation in this study.  Also, if you submit data to the in-depth clinical improvement study, you do not need to report duplicate data to the PIN Benchmarking!  PIN Staff will enter your data for you!

MBQIP Phase 3 Pharmacist Verification Measure

As part of Phase 3 of the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project, HRSA's Office of Rural Health Policy (the Flex granting body) is asking Flex programs to collect data from CAHs that have CPOE regarding the number of electronically entered medication orders that are verified and or directly entered by a pharmacist within 24 hours.

Submit Q2-2015 data here.

Report Distribution

If you have a profile set up you should have received an email from "support@mtha.org" with your username and password.   Staff that we already have as a primary or reports contact for our CAH facilities have automatically been added and given access to PIN reports.  If you do not have access to your log-in information, please contact Jen at Jennifer@mtha.org

How do I use the MHA Data Portal?

There is a link to a tutorial on the Portal Log In page (CLICK HERE). As always, you can contact PIN Staff for assistance.
