August 11    1:00 - 2:30 pm - The Keys to Revenue Cycle Success: Aligning People, Process and Technology

With patients having greater out-of-pocket responsibility and hospitals facing declines in reimbursement as well as increased cost to collect, it is essential to find ways to accelerate cash while keeping costs under control.  This session will address how to create an efficient revenue cycle from front-end through mid-cycle to back-end by highlighting opportunities for improvement as well as providing key performance indicators to measure and define success.

August 18
1:00 - 2:30 pm - "Will That Be Cash or Credit?" Pre-Care Payment

With reimbursement changing, you can no longer afford not to collect copays and charges up-front.  However, many organizations fear a backlash due to the perceived diminishment in customer service.  How can your organization transition to up-front collections while maintaining an image of patient-centered care and professionalism?  This session covers strategies for transitioning to up-front collections and identifying charity care in a way that maximizes customer service.
