 It is required that all participants have access to a copy of Basic ICD-10-CM/PCS Coding, 2013 Edition by Lou Ann Schraffenberger. If your hospital did not receive a book during the 2014 series (email Jennifer@mtha.org for confirmation), the MT Flex grant will provide assistance for remaining MT CAHs to obtain the book for $100, with up to $80 being reimbursed (facility must have representation at 2 of 3 sessions.)   Click on the link above for additional details.  You must register by April 23, 2015 to allow for order and shipping time.

Description: The paths that providers take to get to their current position in healthcare can vary greatly.  No two providers look the same when it comes to education, experience and competency.  We will discuss the typical education paths and also the alternate paths that providers may take.  Our discussion with talk about medical school, foreign medical schools, fifth pathways, internships, residencies, fellowships, clerkships and other masters and PhD programs.   We will talk about expectations of accrediting bodies and verifications.
