ED Transfer Clinical Improvement Study - Baseline

21 out of the 48 CAHs submitted deep dive data, 13 of the 48 submitted high level data via PIN Benchmarking. If your facility did not report to the PIN Benchmarking, or to the ED Transfer Study there will not be a report.

The PIN has identified differences between PIN Benchmarking ED transfer measures and the deep dive clinical improvement study measures for some hospitals.   These could be due to a wide variety of reasons.  Please see your clinical study report for further information.

MBQIP Phase 3 CPOE Measure

As part of Phase 3 of the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project, HRSA's Office of Rural Health Policy (the Flex granting body) is asking Flex programs to collect data from CAHs that have CPOE regarding the number of electronically entered medication orders that are verified and or directly entered by a pharmacist within 24 hours.

Thank you for your response to our survey regarding CPOE capacity at your facility and those that responded to the data request for 3Q 2014.

19 of the 35 CAHS using electronic order entry were able to pull this data.
3Q 2014 - 93%
2Q 2014 - 96%
1Q 2014 - 93%
Q4 2013 - 88%
