Join Us March 19 for SCE's CAA Info Session Kickoff

On March 19, SCE program management and representatives are hosting the annual CAA Info Session Kickoff. It's great opportunity to get all the latest updates on SCE's energy efficiency offerings and meet people face-to-face. Read on to register and see what topics we'll be covering.

Lighting Power Density (LPD) Workshop on March 19

The morning of the CAA Info Session Kickoff will feature a double feature of essentials: Lighting Power Density (LPD) Calculations and Avoiding Application Delays. The morning session will go from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., with free lunch included. Space is limited, so read on for more details and registration information.

SCE is Hitting the Road

This spring, representatives from SCE will be visiting locations throughout Southern California to spread the word about Express and Customized Solutions. Through these training and workshop events, attendees will gain the tools and knowledge they need to initiate projects through our energy efficiency and demand response incentive programs. We're ready for our community to grow and want to help contractors realize the value of becoming Customer's Authorized Agents: lowering upfront project costs, expanding the scope of their services, and gaining access to top-notch training and technical support services.

We encourage you to attend and let your colleagues know about this unique opportunity. Here are the cities we're considering for this first annual CAA Roadshow: Bakersfield, Irvine, Irwindale, Ontario, Ventura, Victorville, and Visalia. A full schedule with event locations will be available soon.

On-Bill Financing (OBF) Training Rescheduled for March 26

To alleviate any scheduling conflicts with the 2014 CAA Info Session, we're moving the previously-scheduled March 19, 2014 On-Bill Financing (OBF) Training session to March 26, 2014. If you're currently registered to attend, you'll automatically be signed up for the revised date, so no action is required. If you haven't registered yet, consider joining us on the 26th for this important training, as OBF training is now mandatory for all CAA's who want to participate in the OBF program.

Get CALCTP Certified at SCE Energy Education Centers

We're pleased to announce that our Energy Education Centers at Irwindale and Tulare are offering free California Advanced Lighting Control Training Program (CALCTP) certification classes throughout March and into April. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge of advanced lighting controls through a series of lectures, hands-on learning, and practical lab installations. Step through the SCE On-Bill Financing (OBF) process, including requirements for customer projects and recent updates to process and policies. Getting Applications Right the First Time

This webinar will discuss the top reasons SCE Incentives Applications are delayed and solutions of how to avoid them. The overview will include examples of incorrect solution codes, ineligible equipment, poor documentation and calculations as well as best practices for verifying an application prior to submission.

Express & Customized Solutions Overview

This introductory webinar will define the Customer's Authorized Agent role and explain how to become active. Participants will acquire knowledge and tools required to successfully navigate Express and Customized Solutions for SCE's energy efficiency and demand response offerings, as well as context around why SCE provides incentives.
