Policy Reminder: Change of Property Ownership During Energy Upgrade

If one of your customers is planning to change ownership of the building, SCE recommends that you complete Express and Customized Solutions projects prior to the change of ownership. As you know, to complete a project, you must  submit a completed Incentives Application, which includes customer and service account numbers.  When a building is sold, those customer and service account numbers are closed and cannot be used to process pending incentive payments. In these cases, SCE's policy requires that a new Incentive Application is submitted that reflects the new customer information, including customer contact information, and customer and service account numbers.
