2013-14 Program Cycle Launch
The 2013-14 Express Solutions and Customized Solutions program cycle launched on February 4 and is now accepting incentives applications. All applications submitted between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2014 are subject to the 2013-14 incentives rates, eligibility requirements, and terms and conditions.
If you submitted an Express Solutions or Customized Solutions application between January 1 and February 3, 2013, you must re-submit it again. If you submitted it using the Online Application Tool, retrieve it from "My Application Library" and click on "Submit to SCE." If you submitted using a pdf or excel application form, our processing organization will be informing you of the next steps.

Update: Comprehensive Project Bonus
Since the January 11 Webinar and follow-up E-Newletter (see here), there have been a few changes and clarifications to the Comprehensive Project Bonus (Bonus), including the creation of a Bonus eligibility checklist.
For your convenience, all changes are clarifications have been highlighted in yellow in the Bonus eligibility checklist, here.
If you submit your application using the Online Application Tool, the Bonus eligibility checklist will be generated by the Tool (how convenient!) See a screenshot of it here.

Update: 2013-14 EMS Application and Solutions Directory
EMS Application
The Online Application Tool (OAT) now supports all of what's new in the 2013-14 Express and Customized Solutions program cycle, including:
- Revised incentives amounts
- A built-in Comprehensive Project Bonus checklist (it tracks your eligibility!)
The new Customized Lighting requirement of using the Lighting Power Density (LPD) method to calculate savings is still pending further instructions from the CPUC's Energy Division. Once those are given, the requirement will be effective immediately and the OAT will be updated to support it.
The OAT is the best (and preferred) way to apply for incentives. Compared to submitting using the pdf or excel application, the OAT offers several benefits that save time and decreases the risk of your application being rejected (or held) for missing or incorrect information. Click here for a summary of these benefits.
As a reminder, it was announced last November that in early 2013 it will become mandatory for CAAs to submit incentives application via the OAT. Need training? You are in luck! The next training is this Friday, February 8. See left side bar.
If you are unable to apply online, you may request an incentives application form by emailing EMSApplication@sce.com or calling (800) 736-4777. To better serve you, provide your company name, address, and the program(s) you are applying for (e.g., Express Solutions) in your email.
Solutions Directory
As does the OAT, the Solutions Directory (Directory) now supports all of what's new in the program cycle. Click here to view.
Please note there are a few revisions that are still in progress and will be available in the next few days. Here's a summary:
Comprehensive Project Bonus:
The Bonus information (page 2) will include a table to identify the solution codes eligible under each of the bonus technologies (Controls, HVAC, Lighting, Process, and Refrigeration). The Bonus eligibilty checklist already includes the table, here.
Express Solutions:
- LT-65785 - Incentive increased to $17.50/lamp
- LT-90344 - Incentive increased to $20.00/lamp
Customized Solutions
- PR-90394 - Solution expired as of 12/31/12.
- Nearly fifty (50) solution codes for "Other" will be replaced by one of two new solution codes:
- NA-28631 -Other Lighting
- NA-30864 -Other Non-Lighting
For Example:
- LT-54831 (Other Interior Linear Fluorescent Lighting) will be replaced by NA-28631 (Other Lighting)
- RF-57987 (Other Refrigeration Curtains) will be replaced by NA-30864 (Other Lighting)
The OAT already includes these updates. This is yet another benefit of using the OAT!
An announcement will be made when the updated Solutions Directory is available.

2013-14 Program Manuals
The Statewide Express Solutions and Customized Solutions Program Manuals will be available soon. The delay is due to these being statewide manuals requiring statewide concensus before release. Because SCE is the first to launch the 2013-14 Express and Customized Solutions program cycle, there are still a few items pending statewide approval.
An announcement will be made when the manuals are available.
