Big Savings in Small Commercial Buildings
You see them everywhere: office buildings, education facilities, retail establishments, public assembly spaces such as libraries and movie theatres, vehicle service and storage buildings, and food sales buildings, to name a few. While multi-story large commercial buildings may be the most visible part of a cityscape, their number is dwarfed by the number of small commercial buildings.
Small commercial buildings are normally thought of as buildings with less than 25,000 square feet. In California, office buildings are the most common, followed by education and service facilities. Together, these three building types constitute 48% of the California commercial buildings in this size range - and therefore account for a lot of energy use!
Click here to learn how these small commercial buildings use energy and what are a few or their ideal Express and Customized solutions. Also included is a comprehensive project example.

Successful Application Checklist
Recent research supports the claim that checklists can help reduce costly errors for experts in complex and stressful fields, like surgery and avionics. While filling out an application for Express or Customized Solutions is not the same as landing a plane, checking your Incentives Application against a list of requirements can certainly help prevent unsuccessful applications.
