I have received a number of inquiries recently asking if SMOHIT provides OSHA online training for our members. The short answer, at least for the moment, is "no."

 

OSHA leadership prefers classroom settings instead of online training. A few years ago, OSHA rescinded their request for applications to become online OSHA certified trainers and only allowed five previously approved trainers to be used for online training. Unfortunately, SMOHIT was not one of them.

 

We will continue to pursue the ability to become recognized as an online OSHA certified trainer; in the meantime, however, we have not been granted the ability to do so.
