Friday Night Tasting Lineup

2011 Maetierra Dry Libalis

It is a fresh, acidic & expressive wine. On the palate, it leaves a mix of citric tastes with fruit such as apple, pear or melon.  It is a wine made with a challenge: to make a dry & acidic must with the characteristic aroma of this variety. This wine is made from our youngest grapes, the less mature grapes, to provide its touch of acidity & liveliness but also its intense aromas of fresh fruit & a pleasant & lively taste. Surprising and fruity, but with a touch dry, with notes of tropical fruits and pastries. Round and creamy. An old favorite, this is a newer vintage.

Our Price: 13.57

2010 Galan Vineyards Molina Gran Reserva Cabernet - Merlot

Blend 60% Cabernet Sauvignon & 40% Merlot.  This is a very bold, elegant, & deep Cabernet blend.  The aromas of fresh berries & sweet cherries are slight on the nose, & those are complimented by the hints of fresh, spicy tobacco & vanilla.  A very well balanced reserva wine with great complexity.  This beauty is actually less expensive than the 2008, which was 23.97! Juicy, high end from Galan.

Our Price: 19.57

2006 Maetierra Dominum Quatro Pagos Reserva

Organic. Quatro Pagos ('QP') is a wine, elegant, complex & structured, aged for 15 & 18 months in French oak barrels. Supple, surprising balance of body & richness of nuances. It can be clearly seen all the qualities of philosophy "Quatro Pagos". A real pleasure for connoisseurs. A favorite of the Tempranillo class. Excellent value. We love this wine.

Our Price: 24.57

2008 Castillo de Maetierra Libalis Melante

It is a velvety, silky, thick wine, but fresh at the same time. It is a wine born from the best grapes in Maetierra, the most mature grapes, those that remain the longest period on the vines, are bronzed, healthier & sweeter. It is our sweet wine, our dessert wine. It is the wine that best expresses the potential of the Muscat à Petits Grains variety. Tropical fruit.
