2011 Vallebelbo Le Filere Barbera d'Asti

Juicy, bright, simple. Clean, medium length, tangy acid. Ripe fruit. A great deal. Bouquet: intense winey, delicate scent. Taste: Dry, full-bodied, with strong acidity and slightly tannic.

2009 Vallebelbo Cesare Pavese Barbaresco

Inexpensive Barbaresco. Grip, dusty, acid, drinks out of the bottle. Drying. Blackberry, bramble, smaller French casks? Very good deal. Nose - Characteristic, vanilla, ethereal, intense and pleasant Palate: Dry, full, velvety harmonious.

2008 Vallebelbo Cesare Pavese Barolo

Smaller barrel - but not an oak bomb. Drinking now- how? Drinking when open 1.5 minutes. Bright but not insurmountable acid / tannins. Tannins so light. Pretty. Modern. The rare "4$↓" rating - buy level based on quality alone, paired with great pricing... Bouquet: characteristic, ethereal, pleasant, intense Taste: Dry, full, austere and robust but velvety, very harmonious.

2011 San Maurizio Moscato d'Asti

Wine Enthusiast - Fresh, piquant and bright, this Moscato d'Asti opens with slightly green aromas of wild flower, cut grass, wild sage and dried hay. The wine is plush and creamy, with a long, sweet endnote that recalls honey, marzipan and peach.
