Friday Night Tasting Lineup
Cote Mas Estate Cremant Brut Rose NV Bright strawberry fruit, cool as well. 1 year lees contact. Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir. Dropped the cost - (we pass the savings to you - both of the sparkling wines would have been over $20) - all estate fruit. Juicy, rhubarb, nice length on the finish. Strawberry dominates with nice tangy acids. Favorite of the lineup when I tasted through all of the featured Paul Mas stuff again recently. Good juice, here to stay for a bit. Tasty goodness, brought back into the fold for summer partying.

Ch. Montfort Vouvray Demi-Sec 2011 Chenin Blanc - The gentle hills of Vouvray have stony slopes and valleys that have flinty-clay and limestone soils. Wine Enthusiast - "This soft, off-dry wine has attractive flavors of tangy orange and lemon, softened by its fruit-forward character. This is a wine for drinking now." Aromas of Granny Smith apples with a hint of stoney minerality. Refreshing demi-sec style with great fruit and intense, lively acidity. 11.5% alcohol. 50 year old vines. Brilliant fruit aromas and excellent structure. The initial fruit sweetness is perfectly complimented by a true zing of bracing acidity and minerality. Tremendously refreshing wine. Our Price: 17.57
Lamargue Les Grandes Cabanes Rosé 2012●
50% Syrah, 50% Grenache. This rosé is obtained by "saignée" or bleeding of the red varieties, Syrah and Grenache, with 6 to 12 hours of skin contact to extract color. Fermentation is at controlled temperatures for approximately 15 days. Six weeks of lees aging gives the wine its roundness and length. Bright and intense rosé color. Complex black currant and raspberry aromas. Dry, refreshing and nicely balanced. The low hills of the Costières de Nimes have a specific soil called grès - a stony gravel with large pebbles that were carried down from the Alps by the Rhone River. This unusual soil, combined with maritime influences, allow for this region to produce an elegant an d distinctive style of wine.

Paul Mas Carignane VV Savignac 2010 Located on the hillsides of the Hérault overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the Savignac vineyard is the ideal growing location for Carignan grapes. These mature vines, some over 50-years old, have reached a perfect natural balance. Even though produced in the Côteaux du Languedoc, Cru Grés de Montpellier appellation, this single varietal wine can only be designated IGP Pays de L'Hérault. On the nose, spices and blackberry give way to aromas of cherry jam and cocoa over toasted oak notes. A full-bodied, rich and mellow wine, with delicious velvety tannins and complex flavors.
