Friday Night Tasting Lineup

2012 Pilot Knob PK Cuvee

(White) - Muscat/Viognier/Chenin/Pinot Blanc PK Cuvee' delivers lovely notes of Asian pear, coupled with the vibrant flavors of golden delicious apples and Meyer lemon on the nose, then brings the bright flavors of lemon peel, cantaloupe, and a touch of crème brulee from the barrel fermented Pinot Blanc. This wonderful blend provides just a hint of sweetness on the silky finish.

Our Price: 16.97

2012 Pilot Knob Viognier

The 2012 Viognier is a wonderfully complex wine with notes of honey suckle, orange blossom, and honeydew melon on the nose.  The beautifully layered of Bosc pear, pineapple, orange pith and lemon zest grace the palette, as this wine moves into a medium bodied well balanced finish.

Our Price: 20.57

2010 Pilot Knob Franco-Rojo Reserve Tempranillo/Merlot

France meets Spain in our 2010 Franco-Rojo. The two share a border and a passion for wine, and now a bottle. Our Tempranillo is a full-bodied dark wine with hints of spice and dark fruits, while Merlot serves to soften the tannins and provides smooth texture. The wonderful combination compliments a juicy steak, or spicy pasta dish. The 2010 Franco-Rojo Reserve, takes the fine crafted flavors of our Franco-Rojo blend, and provides the depth, structure and complexity of oak aging. The lovely Spanish grape of Tempranillo, with the classic French blending grape Merlot, enjoyed 18 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels. The result is a more robust wine, with subtle tones of oak, and the developed classic flavors of the Tempranillo and Merlot grapes. This blend drinks well now, but has the backbone to evolve for years to come.

Our Price: 26.57

2009 Pilot Knob Cabernet Sauvignon

"Hail to the King" is right on for this amazing 100% Cabernet wine.  Aged in French oak, this wine is masterfully crafted, and sourced from one of Texas's founding fathers of wine.  Very approachable now, with fruit and cedar tones, but can be saved for later (we can't do it!) as it continues to mature. Our 2009 smooth textured Cabernet Sauvignon, gives the robust flavors that one expects from Cabernet, while still finishing with a silky rounded edge. With a kiss of oak from its time in French oak barrels, our 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon delivers tones of wood and cedar on the nose, and dark berry flavors on the palette. This wine is the perfect compliment for a hearty meal, and an ideal selection for the ardent Cabernet lover.
