Friday Night Tasting Lineup

2010 Paladin Pralis IGT Delle Venezie
Delicate and elegant for the peach and apricot hints with clean aromatic notes of tropical fruit and mineral scents. Particularly velvety and enfolding, that reveals a strong personality and an excellent structure. It is a classic wine for the entire meal; a wonderful accompaniment to delicate soups, fish dishes, white meats or escalope, soft cheeses, hams and young cold cuts. Good as an aperitif and as wine for conversations. Very original wine obtained from the vinification of Pinot Bianco, Tai and Manzoni Bianco grapes. The Pinot Bianco gives the wine softness and elegance, while Manzoni and Tai enrich its body and create an aromatic note making its fragrance inviting and pleasant.

Our Price: 10.97

2012 Ch. Lamargue Les Grandes Cabanes Rosé

50% Syrah, 50% Grenache. This rosé is obtained by "saignée" or bleeding of the red varieties, Syrah and Grenache, with 6 to 12 hours of skin contact to extract color. Fermentation is at controlled temperatures for approximately 15 days. Six weeks of lees aging gives the wine its roundness and length. Bright and intense rosé color. Complex black currant and raspberry aromas. Dry, refreshing and nicely balanced.

Our Price: 12.57

2010 Planeta La Segreta Rosso

Ruby red with hints of purple, this wine has an explosion of fresh fruit on the nose (red currant, mulberry, raspberry, cherry and prune), balanced by a zesty spiciness. On the palate, vibrant fruit flavors from the Nero d'Avola are nicely balanced by ripe, soft tannins and a refreshing acidity. Elsewhere for $16.

Our Price: 10.57

2006 Graff Urziger Wurzgarten Spatlese

Founded 1860, purchased by P.J. Valckenberg in 1969. Middle Mosel, Saar & Ruwer valleys, from South facing red volcanic & slate slopes. Delicate spice & peach blossom. Juicy apple acids. Cold then hot then wet vintage meant a lot of concern about botrytis - For Graff, a small but high quality vintage. Beautiful by itself, rich enough to serve alongside desserts, or even a blue cheese. Spatlese communicating more ripeness & quality in this instance, as opposed to a straight sweetness level.

Our Price: 14.97

10% off of 4 bottles of wine

15% off of 12 bottles or more of wine
