2009 Bisol Brut Crede Prosecco
Veneto, Italy.....The wine's name, Crede, refers to clayey terrains with subsoils of marine sandstone situated in the hills where the Prosecco, Verdiso and Pinot Bianco vines do not suffer from drought in critical periods. The grapes develop a notable wealth of noble acids, aromas and fruitiness. Scents of wildflowers that are appropriately intense and fresh and an emerging and agreeable note of fruitiness. As in the bouquet, there are fruity hints of apples and pears and their harmony is completed by a rich and refined sapidity. "Bisol (2009) Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Crede from Bisol is a beautifully focused, vibrant Prosecco laced with ripe pears, citrus and flowers. Though a touch on the mineral side, the Crede is a reminder of just how delicious Prosecco can be. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2013." RP-90pts.

2009 Colosi Nero d'Avola
89 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "The 2009 Nero d'Avola emerges from the glass with layers of vibrant, perfumed red fruit. This silky, graceful red offers tons of varietal character and wonderful balance in an up-front, juicy style I find particularly appealing. The Nero d'Avola is aged exclusively in steel, which helps preserve quite a bit of freshness. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2013. (Jun 2010)" The color is cherry red with black highlights. The nose is blackberry, cherry, spearmint chewing gum and an herbal note. Full bodied with silky smooth flavors of black and blueberries, then cherries and cinnamon spice are added. The mid-palate brings in milk chocolate covered blueberries. The tannins are well integrated and there is a good dose of acidity. There is a decent finish that shows as much acidity as there is fruit. Perfect with red meats cooked any style, pasta with tomato sauce and aged cheese.

2010 Terredora Aglianico d'Irpinia
Intense ruby red with violet reflections, it shows black cherry, wild blackberry and plum fruit flavors with a spicy, toasted overtone. Soft and elegant, it is surprisingly long in the mouth with notes of mature red fruits and displays the structure necessary for long ageing. Ideal with soups, even those which are meat based, cold cuts, white and red meat, roasted or boiled and mature cheeses.
