Fifth Wheel Folly
This tractor trailer was getting onto the NJ Turnpike when it ran into a problem. The fifth wheel had a mechanical problem and wasn't properly locked to the trailer. The tractor came uncoupled from the trailer which was loaded with 40,000 pounds. Luckily the trailer didn't roll over and the landing legs did not break. We dispatched our trucks to the scene to evaluate the situation. We lifted the loaded trailer up with our rotator and backed our tractor under it for a safe connection. Once we were coupled to it, we took the trailer off of the highway. Our professional crew makes it look easy but it's a combination of experience, great equipment and training. Excellent job gentlemen!

Driver Goes Diving??
|
Imagine it's your first day on the job. You turn the corner heading out from your shop and BLAM! you're nose first into a sink hole. A water main burst causing the flooding and the subsequent sink hole. We were called in to extricate the truck from the hole back onto solid ground. Once the water main was shut off the water was pumped into a nearby sewer and we able to begin our recovery. Let's hope the driver's second day was less exciting!
