"Two Pickups and a Trailer"

Car Carrier Transport Gone Wrong
No this isn't the title of a new movie, it's the recent recovery we were called to take care of.
This fellow, hauling a car trailer, took the turn a little too quickly. He was top heavy with a new Chevy Avalanche on the top front position of the trailer. The trailer rolled with the Avalanche on it and continued to ride along the guard rail before the red pickup truck struck a pole and finally came to a complete stop. We used one of our rotators and a heavy duty wrecker to upright the Avalanche and the trailer. Once it was up-righted we took the combination to a safe location where the Chevy Avalanche was offloaded onto one of our rollbacks. Then we towed the red pickup and the trailer separately to our facility. Kudos to John, Flo, Arty, Brian and Ziggy for a job well done. Great work gentlemen!

April is National Distracted Driver Month. New Jersey, in particular, has a state wide crack down on hand held phones and texting while driving for the next three weeks.
Starting today, April 1st, police in 60 New Jersey communities are launching a three-week crackdown on distracted drivers.
As part of a national campaign dubbed "UDrive, UText, UPay," police departments are tapping into a special federal grant that will allow them to dedicate overtime officers specifically to distracted drivers.
"Officers are going to be doing a hundred hours of this special detail: distracted drivers with cell phones," said Englewood Cliffs Police Chief Michael Cioffi. "Nothing else."

We all have so much going on in our lives it can sometimes seem hard to remember anything. Here are some great strategies for sharpening the most important tool in your toolbox.
- Get more sleep.
- Get 20-30 minutes of cardiovascular activity three times per week.
- Do something simple but out of the ordinary like taking a different route to work.
- Make sure your diet is rich in leafy green vegetables, omega 3 rich fish and blueberries.
-Meditate
-Go to a museum or watch a documentary on something that fascinates you.
-Have a drink. Moderate alcohol consumption can improve the condition of the blood that reaches the brain. (Don't drink and drive though!)
