Remembering the "good ole' days" is more than storytelling here at Nick's Towing Service. Nick brought in a fleet of old vintage wreckers and had a training session for the drivers on towing with them. "We trained the men on using the vintage trucks and used them for an entire day of towing". The gorgeous NTS fleet stayed parked one Winter day and the vintage trucks were put into service. "It makes you appreciate how far technology has come" said John Ely, Transortation Manager. The crew was relieved to get back into their regular rides the next day. "It was fun but a lot of work." said one driver. "I wouldn't want to do it again anytime soon!".

This big fella was wayward bound when one of our driver's came across him walking down the road. "I thought I had to get my eyes checked" said Tony "The Towmaster" Thomas. "I rubbed my eyes and there it was, a gigantic giraffe. Suddenly I remembered seeing a story about a lost giraffe on the news the day before. I decided the only thing to do was load him up and take him back to the zoo where he belonged." The wind was whipping that day my friends and the giraffe was swaying back and forth. It was precarious but happily the giraffe made it back safe and sound. "The zoo workers were pretty shocked when I pulled up" Tony recounts. The giraffe was off loaded and lead back to his enclosure. Nick was gracious enough to waive the tow bill and the zoo named the giraffe Nick.
