In 1976 Kenworth introduced the first raised roof sleeper called the Aerodyne. Initial production was a special truck called the "VIT 200 Bicentennial Edition". It was produced to coincide with the 200th birthday of America. It was made in both a long nose and cab over with the same graphics. As Paul Harvey would say "And that's the rest of the story...." A container truck carrying 15 tons of metal lost its rear wheels on the highway this past week. We were on the scene in a jiffy to lift the container and set it onto our landoll trailer for safe transport and to get the roadway cleared.
