Not that I am surprised but feedback from my first official blog was excellent. I'm not sure what you humans like best blogs or animals! That got me thinking that you probably have some pictures of your own pets you'd like to share. Of course I prefer cats but if you must, send dog pictures as well. Email them to JoyceTPowers@yahoo.com (how wonderful to have a human assistant!). I will give my paw of approval and post them in future blogs. In the meantime, I was feeling especially grateful (must have been the delicious meal I just ate) and my thoughts turned to heroes. NOT dogs. They get way too much press for helping humans as it it, Lassie and the like. Blah, blah. What I wanted to share were my thoughts on the human hero. Towers definitely rate in my book. These guys and gals put themselves in harms way to ensure the safety of the motoring public. Not a small feat. I'm sure proud of my owners and what they do every day (just don't tell Nick!). It's not easy work but it is worthwhile. I listen to the stories he tells at the dinner table and I am impressed (and trust me I am not easily impressed). Nick is always talking safety, safety, safety. Reflective vests, hard hats, training and monthly safety updates are just a few of the things I've overheard him discussing while I nap. Nick takes safety seriously. Too bad you humans don't have nine lives like us and you wouldn't have to be so cautious. It got me thinking that if I owned a trucking company (as if I'd give up my naps to work!) I would want to deal with someone who takes care of his people and equipment so well. It carries over to his customers. I hope you consider that when you choose Nick's Towing Service for your company needs. Whew! Too much philosophy for one day. I'd better stop before anyone gets the wrong idea that cats care. As if! Now onto something funny. You might not think cats have a funny bone but we do. We laugh at you humans all the time. I think you'll enjoy the picture below. This fellow feline enjoys the computer as much as I do. He's taken a picture with the webcam from his owner's computer. Not sure what the deal is with the rooster costume (I hate to admit it but sadly not all of us cats have the best taste). Until next month, Meow!
