Patronage Payout & Plan Changes for 2014
If your organization was a member of National CooperativeRx in 2012 then your organization received a check in the mail recently. National CooperativeRx is a not-for-profit cooperative, and member/owners share in any remaining annual earnings once we meet our operating expenses. This "patronage capital" is a benefit of cooperative ownership and one of the reasons our founding members chose this unique business model. We were excited to be able to distribute the patronage, and we hope your organization was equally excited to receive it. As a quick reminder, if your organization has pharmacy benefit plan changes to be implemented on January 1, 2014, we recommend submitting them by November 1, 2013. Please let us and your CVS Caremark Account Manager know you want to make changes, or if you have any questions regarding your plan. Chris Schanz can be reached at cschanz@nationalcooperativerx.comWayne Salverda can be reached at wsalverda@nationalcooperativerx.com
