The National CooperativeRx Annual Meeting took place this week in Madison, WI. The weather cooperated, and we were able to look out at the sunshine on Lake Monona through the windows of the Monona Terrace.
Our Board Chair, Paul Meyer, kicked off the event with a review of the cooperative and where we stand financially. National CooperativeRx CEO Greg Horstman went through the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) RFP process, and explained how CVS Caremark came out ahead of the competition in both pricing and services.
Our main speakers gave comprehensive overviews of health care consumerism from the national, employer, and individual perspective. HR and Wisconsin OCI continuing education credits were supplied to everyone who was interested in them.
To end the event, CVS Caremark representatives Cheryl Byron and Shawn Young took the stage to discuss their commitment to the Cooperative, and how they plan on following through with their renewed dedication.
We'd like to thank everyone who was able to attend this year's event. It was wonderful to see everyone, and we're already looking forward to next year.
Your PBM Cooperative,
National CooperativeRx
