2013 Enhanced Pricing Terms

Thank you for being a member of National CooperativeRx.

As a member, you can rest easy, knowing that you have a full team of skilled professionals watching out for your best interest in the pharmacy benefits industry.  We're always working on your behalf, and because of that, you can expect enhanced pricing terms for 2013.  This is a result of previously negotiated pricing enhancements for year 3 of our current contract.

The new terms that will automatically take effect for all cooperative members in 2013 include an increase both in discounts and in minimum rebate guarantees.  Just one more reason to look forward to the new year!!

In addition, as we have previously communicated, we are well into the RFP and marketplace assessment process for the next contract period beginning January 1, 2014.  We sought competitive proposals from 10 separate PBMs, and are now evaluating the proposals from the 6 respondents.  We on track to share the fruits of this critical due diligence responsibility at the beginning of February 2013.  We anticipate this will be one of many exciting, value-based news to look forward to in the new year.

With Warm Regards,

Your PBM Cooperative
