The Volunteers of America, Dakotas' Board of Directors is pleased to announce that they have appointed Dennis Hoffman as the new President & CEO. Hoffman has been acting as Interim CEO since December of 2012. The Board worked closely with the National Volunteers of America office in the process of searching for a new chief executive.

Ryan Snell, Chairman of the Board of Directors commented, "Dennis is the candidate that brought the right gifts and talents needed for this challenging executive position. We are confident that Dennis will bring his strong leadership skills and commitment to our mission to his new role."

Hoffman has over 25 years of leadership and business management experience including investments, insurance, banking, finance and institutional foundation administration. He has been employed by Wells Fargo, Edward Jones and the University of Sioux Falls, holding senior level positions throughout much of his career.

When asked about his reaction to hearing the news, Hoffman commented: "I'm grateful. It's truly a blessing to work in an organization that helps people the way that Volunteers of America does. We truly make a difference in the lives of those we serve. I look forward to the months and years ahead."
