Comprised of parents, professionals, and NSD administrators, SEPAC members collaborate for the benefit of the special needs children in the Northshore School District. Everyday Impact
Thanks to You!

Welcome to Fall!  As we begin this school year, I want to take a minute and acknowledge the amazing impact you have had on our students.  Yesterday, I shared with the NSD School Board that with your help our grants impacted students more than 43,000 times. That's no minor feat considering that many of the programs we supported will continue to impact students for years to come.  We estimate that the more than $140,000 that was granted to the District will enhance the education of more than 120,000 students over the lifetime of the grants.

WOW!!!!!  That's what is powerful about the Foundation.  The collective impact of community support creates measurable results for our students.

Thank you for all you do!  Your support impacts thousand of students, everday!

Go you!

All In For Kids

Are you All in for Kids?

Annually, families, community and local businesses partner together to support students.  The All in for Kids Campaign provides funding for classroom libraries for new teachers and National Board Teacher Certification.

Beginning October 8, student volunteers will be calling our families and asking them for support.   Families who have donated before October 1 will not be called.

To date, more than $15,000 has been donated for the All in for Kids Campaign, getting us to 25% of our goal.

Last year the campaign raised $53,000 which funded programs that support Career and College Readiness, Literacy and STEM.

  •

Volunteers will be calling to ask for your support during October.

If you make your donation on-line or by mail by September 30th, you will NOT be called.

Thank you!

Sharing the Good News
Last week, representatives from the United States Department of Education visited the Secondary Academy of Success to honor their 2012 designation as a Green Ribbon School.  The Foundation supports several programs at SAS that led to this highly distinguished honor.  DoE also visited Woodinville High School and Woodin Elementary as a part of their tour.
Thank you for being a part of our community.  We look forward to continuing to grow with you.

Sincerely,
Carmin Dalziel, Executive Director
Northshore Schools Foundation
