Hello 2014! It's the year of the HORSE; in Chinese Astrology anyway. Beginning on January 31st a new positive flow of optimism and inspiration ushers in. We can emerge from our caves. The veil has been lifted. There is nothing holding us back now. Except possibly ourselves. A time for us to truly honor and follow our intuition like never before. Are you ready???

Last year was all about re-balancing (of a karmic nature) and introspection. It was and still is for about a day or so, the year of the snake... us shedding our skins both literally and figuratively. Looking at the muck and being with the uncomfortable stuff. Not very sexy but very necessary. So if you have been a good and eager student, and embraced what needed to be seen, this year promises to be "delightfully" delicious.

How will you choose to navigate this new and expansive energy? Every day offers us a myriad of opportunities. What is reflected in our outer world is a direct reflection of what is going on inside; although at times we may think otherwise. If what you see is not to your liking, you can go internal and change the interior landscape. You can choose again. And again. You are the equestrian. How are you riding?

There was a time way back in the day when I constantly listened to alternative/healing audio tapes. I would play them over and over as they deeply spoke to the core of my being. One particular phrase has come in and out of my minds eye over the years. It is from Caroline Myss, the brilliant medical intuitive and divine teacher of SPIRIT. Her commentary still vibrates within me. It goes something like this:

" Your job is not to make the outcome happen.Your job, is to get to the door, but not "kick" it open. You are in charge of the ingredients..." I repeat the ingredients. The horse can be a bit feisty at times, so allow it to gallop at it's own pace without pushing too much. Make sense?

Like a fine recipe, we prepare. We lovingly provide an exquisite mix for whatever masterpiece we are creating. We live from a place of integrity, compassion and love; with our hearts wide open. We embrace life fully as it unfolds mysteriously.

So in this beloved year of the green wooden horse (and I am born in a Horse year ...Yeah me), I believe we have the power to bring our deepest dreams to fruition. Lovingly direct your energy in a positive way. Be a bit more "extroverted" and put yourself out there. Pray, meditate, chant, dance, sing, and do yoga. Lots of yoga. :) Spend time in nature. And most importantly, surround yourself with people and situations that make you feel uplifted.

Believe with your whole heart. From mine to yours...
