Believe it or not, the 2012 local USTA tennis league season is officially over.  However Memphis has many teams traveling this month to Georgia for the USTA Mixed Doubles Sectional Championships and also to Chattanooga for the USTA Southern Combo State Championships.  So, best of luck to you all! Let's bring home a few more State and Sectional Titles Memphis!

Memphis Tennis Association is pleased to announce Jackie Mills as the 2013 Mixed Local League Coordinator. She joins Angela Johnson (USTA Adult league play), Sherrie Cox (Combo league play), and Tony Cherone (Junior League Play) in their respective roles.  We feel we have a great pool of talent leading our leagues and look forward to the 2013 year.


2013 MTA Directory


If you played in a USTA League during 2012 then you will automatically be included in the 2013 MTA membership directory.


However, to make sure your contact phone number and email (if desired) is included, please complete the Directory Update Form located on our website.   


The deadline for directory updates is December 1, 2012!

USTA Jr. Team Tennis
Jr Team
The 2012 Fall USTA Jr. Team Tennis League in Memphis is about to begin. 
  • Who: Players in all age groups. 8u,10u,12u,14u,18u. Quick Start formats will be used in 8u and 10u leagues.  
  • What: Each team must have a minimum of three boys and three girls (8u minimum three players of any gender). There is no limit to how many kids can be on a team. 
  • Where: Match locations and times will be determined. Matches will be played on Saturdays/Sundays/Mondays. 
  • When: League registration will be open Sept 20 - Oct 7. Matches will be played over 4 weekends. Oct 19-21 and 26-28, and Nov 9-11 and 16-18. 
  • Why: 1. USTA sanctioned league. 2. Coed teams. 3. City championships and awards 4. Fun, Fun, Fun.
