Story of the Week
God at work all over LA /OC County
Greetings!
The first official week of rallies is over, and we're excited to report back to you, as promised, some exciting stories from the last 5 days. To give you an idea of how exciting and busy this week has been for Bible clubs all across the map, here's a handful of highlights:

On Monday, Santiago High School kicked off the week with an apologetics rally featuring a Biola professor, Thadeus Williams, who spoke on the existence of God and His omnipotent power in front of a small but attentive crowd in an art classroom during lunch.
Two Biola campus mentors, Brian and Marissa, witnessed after school at Whittier High School on Tuesday. Brian partnered with the Bible club president, Jay, and the two of them experienced an incredible afternoon of sharing. Brian shares, "Jay and I went toward these two girls and begin to share the Gospel and asked them would they like to have a relationship with God, they said yes so we led them in the prayer. Also, a girl named Justine, whom Jay knew, wanted a relationship with God after we explained what it means to her so we led her in the sinner's prayer as well." Three young ladies came to Christ on Tuesday afternoon because the Lord is working in the lives of these student leaders!
On Wednesday, a CSP staff member, Ryan Tucker, shared the Gospel message, from creation to redemption, in front of a crowd of 50 students in the Santiago High School gym. Bible club members walked around campus with a large poster reading, "The Ultimate Love, Today at Lunch", and encouraged students to attend the rally. After sharing the Gospel in it's entirety, Ryan invited students to respond and 6 students indicated new faith in Christ!

The Los Angeles High School Bible club hosted a Gospel rally on Thursday. 80 students came into the Memorial Hall during lunch and listened to Ben Loiz, a local LA pastor, share the Gospel message. The room was extremely quiet and students paid careful attention to the Good News Ben spoke. After the message, the hall quickly filled up with conversation, free Bibles, and the smell of hot pizza. Bible club leaders shared that 10 students indicated new faith in Christ on their response cards that day!

To close out the week, Covina High School held their 2nd rally on Friday afternoon during lunch. Kevin Garcia, a youth pastor from Bethany Church, spoke in front of an audience of 200+ students. Reflecting upon his talk, Kevin shared, "I think it's exciting to see something beginning. The beginning of kids thinking about God and their relationship with him." Billy, the Covina High Bible club president excitedly shared, "This is our second day of rallies this week and it's going pretty good. We've had so much fun planning these [rallies]. Spreading God's name is a great achievement. We're planting a seed for students to hopefully understand who Christ is".
