Story of the Week

Special Edition: An update on outreaches happening right now!

Greetings!

Last Friday, our Biola Chapter Director, Michael Towson, wrote to you and issued a call to prayer for the outreaches that are happening at 23 high schools beginning this week and going into the next. Thank you for praying with us! God is already moving in powerful ways and many students are coming to faith in Christ!

As this message is being written, another one of our staff members, Ryan Tucker, just walked out the door of our office to go and speak at an outreach event at Santiago High School. There is a tangible sense of excitement in the air around our team as we anticipate the lives that very well could be changed forever by the Gospel today. In addition to the outreach at Santiago, Los Angeles High School and Trabuco Hills High School are each hosting a band at their school and having a guest speaker follow-up the performance with a Gospel presentation. Santa Fe is having a local youth pastor come and share the Gospel with their student body. Schurr High School is hosting an Apologetics Event focused on answering the question, "Does God really exist?"

As exciting as all of that is, we are already seeing incredible fruit at our local campuses! Just Yesterday, 13 students accepted Christ as their savior at Valley High School! Valley's Club President, Hector, tag-teamed a Gospel presentation with Pastor Tommy from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.

Please continue to pray for the high school students and their outreach events. Also, we would like to specifically ask you to join us in thanking God for the miracles that He has already provided for us. Remember, all of these events have been completely designed by high school students, so we never take it for granted when God takes a group of young leaders and helps them to realize their dreams at their school!
