WHAT'S ON OUR NEEDLES
SPRING KNITTING IS BLOOMING

Acapulco Cropped Pullover by Tabetha Hedrick in Juniper Moon Fibers Cumulus. Pop it on over that little black linen dress or a light weight tissue tee and cropped white pants. For those who are worried about their midriff, the top can be lengthened.

The Clara Dress by Karin Vestergaard Mathiesen in Geilsk Cotton is a lighter weight summer version vs. the original knit in Isager Alpaka.

Heather and I decided to join in on the Stopover by Mary Jane Mucklestone craze. Top photo, with modifications, in Fancy Tiger Heirloom and bottom photo in Lett Lopi.

HEATHER'S HELPFUL HINTS
I have been asked several times this month about uneven stitches in stranded knitting and how to fix them. A certain amount of unevenness is always going to occur in stranded knitting and fortunately there is a way to get rid of them.  If you block the knitting while applying tension to it, you should come away with smooth and even stitches. Warning.... this will not fix overall tight or loose stranded knitting. Stop by the shop for help with those issues.
