Vision Boards Do Work
Do you have recipes and coupons posted on your refrigerator door? Your door is a vision board. These seemingly random notes, and reminders point to simple changes or upgrades that you want to make in your life; trying a new menu or saving money-for what?
To most people a vision board is a group of pictures of cars, homes, vacations and money that you think you want in your life; this is a vision board, a very vanilla one; it doesn't reflect how you feel about these things and how they would change your life.
Vision boards can also be made up of words, phrases or sentences, with or without pictures that acknowledge your intentions. They remind you of your core values, your fantasy life, your goals, and your dreams. My favorite quote; "the world is so full of a number of things that I'm sure we should all be a happy as Kings" (RLS) has always painted a picture in my mind of how I would like to see the World, full of happiness, love and peace.
More important than the pictures of the new house, is the feeling that you expect you will have if you live in that house. The pictures of shoes and jewelry are reminders of where you imagine you would wear them, and the lifestyle that goes with images.
Vision Boards really do work. Having images planted in your subconscious mind will lead you to making choices that can turn your visions into reality. The process is unconscious; it works in the background to lead you in directions that can make your dreams come true.
