Welcome to your April 2015 newsletter. As ever, I've packed it full of newsy stuff that I hope will be of interest to you.
This month we've got some successful images from the LighterLife Gallery, one of whom you may recognise, plus a success story from Loughborough from a client who first came to me when I opened eight years ago and is successfully continuing to maintain her three stones weight loss. Excellent!
Plus, news of the Spring Bootcamp for past clients who want a bit of a boost - hurry though, entry closes on Monday and places are limited.
Plus, an opportunity to access past newsletters and gain more of an insight into the LighterLife world to see just how unique and different it is in the weight loss industry.
Plus a couple of changes as well.

Marianne was one of my first clients when I opened for business in Loughborough in 2007 and here she is weight maintaining eight years later. She said that the hardest bit was the 18 months after she had lost the weight as everyone expected her to "go back to normal", i.e. return to her old eating and drinking habits, but, Marianne knew from the counselling that this was a path back to regaining all the weight so she choose to think differently and act differently and look at the results!
LighterLife see weight loss as only the beginning. Keeping the weight off and learning to become a different person around food is the key which is why part of the overall Programme is to help support clients to do this as and when they need support.

SPRING BOOTCAMP
Have you noticed how the sunshine lifts your spirits? But it also means less layers of clothing? If you are currently feeling motivated, why don't you grab a place on the Spring Bootcamp opening up on Monday 20th April at 7.15pm. There are only two places left, so don't hesitate!!
The Spring Bootcamp involves you following the Total Programme for four weeks. You commit to attend the majority of the sessions (one will be a pop in due to holiday commitments) over the four weeks and purchase all four Weekly Fees up front on the first night (£60 - non refundable) to seal the deal!

ACCESS PAST NEWSLETTERS FOR MUCH MORE INSIGHT

HOLIDAY TIME!!
For one week starting 27th April I will be on a much needed annual holiday for one week mountain walking in Madeira! So, I will be offering a pop in for everyone on the evening of 27th April between 6pm and 8pm but then will be closed until 5pm on Monday 5th May (my plane lands at 2.45pm so I figure that gives me enough time to get back!)
If you are in a group I will be talking to you about that this week. You can either come to the pop in the 27th (which I would recommend as you'll be weighed as normal as well as being able to ask any quick questions) or, purchase two weeks worth the week before - the choice is yours.

CARD MACHINE CHANGES
I try to be as helpful and flexible as I can be with clients and to that end I have always offered the facility to pay with credit or debit card. However, from the 2nd April, VISA have escalated their charges to me hugely so I'm asking clients, wherever possible, to pay in cash so the machine gets used as little as possible.
I'll have to monitor the situation, but, I may need to levy a charge for using cards in future. If this happens I will, of course, let you know well in advance.

LIGHTERLIFE GROUPS - WHICH ONE IS THE ONE FOR YOU?
At LighterLife here in Loughborough we offer a full range of groups to suit all clients, but, sometimes which one is right for you can be confusing. The groups will follow either the Total abstinence Programme or the low calorie Lite Programme. Men and women have their own groups. So, here is a description of each group and who it suits.
Each group gives you at least an hour of group counselling every week as well as on-going support whenever you need it during the rest of the week. There are also pop in times available every day Monday to Wednesday to aid flexibility if you cannot get to a group time for whatever reason, but, the key to success on LighterLife is to aim to attend the majority of sessions to learn more about your relationship with food - otherwise you will only be doing a diet!
LADIES TOTAL FOR NEW CLIENTS - Tuesday 7.00pm to 8.30pm
This group is for new female clients with a BMI of 28 or higher who have never been a client of LighterLife before. Currently there are five places available in this group. You must attend an Initial Appointment with me before you can join. Call me to book one.
LADIES RETURNER - DAY TIME: Monday 2.00pm to 3.30pm
These groups are for ladies who, for whatever reason, have left the Programme early before completing, or, have completed but have found a few pounds creep back on and want a more structured environment than the Management group to lose the weight. You can follow either the Total or Lite Programme in this group and you can stay in the group for as many consecutive weeks as you wish.
LADIES RETURNER - EVENING: Monday 5.30pm to 7.00pm or Wednesday 7.00pm to 8.30pm
These groups are for ladies who, for whatever reason, have left the Programme early before completing, or, have completed but have found a few pounds creep back on and want a more structured environment than the Management group to lose the weight. You can follow either the Total or Lite Programme in this group and you can stay in the group for as many consecutive weeks as you wish.
LADIES MANAGEMENT AND LITE- Tuesday 5.30pm to 6.55pm NEW TIME!!
This group is for ladies who are currently going through the Management Phases or who are doing the Lite low calorie Programme or are Life Members, i.e. those who have completed the entire Programme of weight loss and all the Management phases and are using the group for on-going support to help them maintain their weight loss.
LADIES SPRING BOOTCAMP - Monday 7.15pm to 8.45pm
This group is for returning Ladies who want to commit to a full four weeks on the Total Programme. The commitment is made by paying for the four Weekly Fees up front and then attending each of the four weekly sessions and purchasing a full 28 foodpacks each week. This group is available to any ex-clients and Life Members, but, not to any of have previously enrolled on a specific time period group such as this, or a Bootcamp, and failed to complete the number of weeks they committed to.
Next 4 week commitment due to commence 20th April. At time of writing, just two places left.
MEN'S GROUP - Tuesday 2.00pm to 3.30pm NEW TIME!!
This is for all Men regardless of status. You can start any week, but, once you start the commitment is to purchase a Weekly Fee and 28 foodpacks every consecutive week with no missed weeks. The only exceptions to this are for Life Members who can purchase any amount of foodpacks and attend whenever they wish, and those undertaking the Management Phases where the number of foodpacks relates to the stage they are at.
