Hi everyone,
Your newsletter took a holiday in August and September as they were two incredibly busy months with many new clients, but now we are back with a vengeance and loads of exciting news to report! I also had a couple of short breaks in Norfolk and France visiting friends and relatives that helped recharge my batteries as well.
The first thing you might notice is a different format. Clients told me that reading a two column newsletter was difficult on iPhones so I've changed it to a one column and hopefully that will make life a bit easier!
The 8 week Bootcamp model is proving to be very successful and the Ladies Pre-Autumn Boot Camp is currently half way through and has collectively lost the equivalent weight of a new born giraffe (9 stones). Plus, they are collecting their lost weight in tinned and packaged food which will be donated to charity at the end.
The Pre-Christmas Boot Camp will open up on Thursday 10th October, so if you want to book a place get in touch now.

RETURN OF SOME OLD FAVOURITES

Creamy Asparagus soup, Apple and Cinnamon Porridge and Mint Chocolate shake will all be making a reappearance this Autumn. Creamy Asparagas soup arrived yesterday. There are no set delivery times for the other two yet yet but Mint Chocolate is likely to be the next off the production line. Join my LighterLife Facebook group to keep up to date because I will announce their arrival there first.

MYTH:
You always put weight back on when you finish LighterLife. Everyone says so!
FACT:
You will put weight back on if you eat more calories than your body needs - it's no more complex than that!
There are many reasons why it is important to take the counselling element of LighterLife seriously but one of them is to help you make the necessary adjustments to your food intake once you have completed the Programme. There is a little bit of trepidation when returning to food in terms of "what if I am hungry all the time", "what if I don't like the food I am now supposed to eat", etc etc.
When you were carrying extra weight your stomach was extended to more than its natural size. The LighterLife approach enables the stomach to shrink back to the size it should be (which is the size of your two fists put together) and therefore doesn't need as much food to enable you to feel satisfied (not full or bloated - if you feel either of these sensations you have over eaten and are on your way to putting the weight back on). Providing the food you eat is nutritious and low on the GI scale you will never feel hungry.
In terms of the food; healthy, nutritious food is tasty, colourful, releases energy slowly giving you optimum energy levels, brain power and balanced mood and hugely enjoyable. The Management stages educate you on all you need to know about this part to enable you to change your food intake.
In short, if you choose to ignore everything the Programme teaches you and go back to your old ways then you will put every pound back on - but if you grasp the opportunity of putting into practice all your new learning (and don't forget you've got continued support from me) then you can be slim and fit for life! DRINKS!
The success of the LighterLife diet isn't just about having four foodpacks a day (Total) or three foodpacks plus a meal (Lite), being properly hydrated is also a vital element both for the health of the client and also to take the fat burning to optimum levels. The drinks that are allowable are water (tap, still, sparkling or soda), LighterLife water flavourings, LighterLife Savoury Broth, decaffeinated coffee (black) and any leaf tea, i.e. decaffeinated black tea, nettle, green, white leaf, mint, peppermint, redbush and a new one: Twinings Buttermint Tea. Teas made from fruits or flowers are not permitted as they can temporarily take you out of ketosis, as do diet drinks and flavoured waters. |

If you like the sound of LighterLife and want to join, firstly book into a free, no obligation initial appointment (every Wednesday at either 3.30pm or 6.00pm), to find out more, then choose the best date and time below for you to start. You may need to visit your GP, Practice Nurse or Private GP for a short health assessment before you can join, but MOST clients will be able to self certify and choose to start straight away:
