Zach
Walk with a Doc.
Newsletter.
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
HIPAA.
HIPAA who?
I can't say.

I love that joke. So does Zach (close friend).
Anyway, Good Morning!
We hope your week has been killer! Ours has definitely been that way, killer!

Wednesday we had the honor of being on a call led by the Alliance for Biking and Walking. The conference was called "Making the Health Argument to Boost Walkability". We learned a lot and Hillary Borcherding of www.walkboston.org made us aware of extremely helpful resources on their website. For those of us who like to ambulate - it's worth the click. Great metrics.
(Just please wait until after 0700 Friday, May 10th as I haven't asked permission yet and I'm worried we may overload their servers). On with the show.

We're changing the name to Walk with a Dog.
PETS MAY REDUCE CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE!

Yup. Serious - statement released by the AHA yesterday. The article reads "may", but anyone who owns a pet knows that these guys absolutely have to make us healthier for many reasons. Click here for the details.

CONSULTING SERVICES
What We Offer

From the moment you contact us to start your own Walk with a Doc, you are given all the consulting services that you have time for. We've been blessed to aid in the start-ups and roll-outs of over one hundred walks around the world. It's what we do and we love it. Love it.
Need help picking a park?
We got it.
Can't decide when to hold your walk?
Simple.
Curious about marketing tips?
Too easy.
What should our doc discuss?
Anything he or she wants, but we have a LONG list of successful topics.
Cost?:
Free. Delivering Happiness (Tony Hsieh). That's our policy.
How are we able to pull it off?
Easy. We all want the same thing and we love that you are taking a (little, tiny) leap of faith. That's why it's free. That's what it is. It's like butter.

What our staff is reading
May 2013

We give this book a big thumbs up. It's clever, it's inspirational, and it makes us want to dance. Clicking on cover takes you to Amazon. Not the river, the site.
A lot of the IT guys are listening on Audible.com, but we still count that, same content.

The book is full of great stories and quotes (I think, I'm only on page 25...jk). We like this one a lot:

"Don't be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days...as you make use of."
-Charles Richards, Canadian Judge
Go get 'em this weekend. You know what to do.

In a BIG WAY!
