Greetings!

Good morning!

What a beautiful week! We've been getting a lot of guilty calls to the office. Guilty calls? Community members have been concerned that it's too easy to get their 150 minutes/week. "There's got to be more to it than this," they say. "I park in the back of the lot. Walk for 10 minutes during my break. By the way, I come back into the office a new person (they say under their breath). I walk for 20-30 minutes with my wife/husband/lover when I get home, and before I know it, it's only Wednesday and I have 185 minutes. I feel better everyday! Am I doing something wrong?" Nope. Kathryn just smiles and says, "You're perfect. Pat yourself on the back and go have an apple. You've earned it."
We must have received 110 calls like just last week alone!
No guilt. All pleasure.
Today we share an important video that shares a way to end your day with more energy and significantly less or no pain. Another example of the best answer being the simplest.

What If...
What If...
We have a BIG opportunity here. A big opportunity to change something we did not necessarily know was a <really> bad behavior. People who exercise regularly and sit more than 6 hours/day (like I used to) are at increased risk. I was fortunate to hear a talk by Laura Ritzler, Director of Wellness at Promedica. They are making major, appropriate investments into sit/stand desks. Their associates LOVE these desks. Less joint pain and MORE ENERGY at the end of the day. Plus, much better for their long term health. Win/win/win. If you are sitting at work and don't have one of these desks, consider gentle stretching every 30 minutes.

Farmer of the Year

For an unprecedented 5th consecutive year, the award goes to Mr.Steven Glimcher!
Steve is a great dude and the owner of Circle G Lazy K Ranch. The Glimchers have provided us the good fortune of leading WWAD at this gorgeous farm for the past 4 years.
This November 10th (9:00am) we celebrate our 5th year with Steve.
There are dozens of stunning alpacas and  other beautiful farm animals. We have great food, hot coffee, a massive bonfire and a great walk throughout these impressive 100+ acres.
Reminder: This walk is in 2 weeks.
Have a great weekend! Please click here for all this weekend's walks.

Respectfully,

The wisdom of life is to keep on planting. Some...never plant after youthful imagination dies, and they reap only the one crop which they planted in youth. Plant every season and life will be a succession of harvests.  - Henry Ford
