Did you know that

CHN is a tiny nonprofit organization that exists only because of a few hardworking volunteers, one of whom works full time from her kitchen table?
No one here draws a salary?
In nine years, we have never launched a fundraising campaign?
Without a fundraising campaign and without major grant support, we've accomplished a lot at CHN.

But there's a limit to what volunteers can do.

We can't fly our Emotional Emancipation (EE) Circle Training Teams out to respond to your nearly 600 urgent requests for help and training. We need financial resources to pay for plane tickets and hotel rooms and materials.

Volunteerism can't bring leaders of African ancestry from around the world to Washington D.C. to join us in our ground-breaking Valuing Black Lives Summit (aimed at addressing the root causes of the attack on Black lives). Not one leader has requested an honorarium, but some need help with travel expenses.

For all of that, we now really need YOUR help.
