Why? 

To help us raise funds to support the movement to Value Black Lives. The tragic events of the past year demand that we face a hard truth. In the eyes of too many people in this world, Black lives simply do not matter as much as White lives. Until that changes, there will be no end to the tragedies we've been seeing. CHN has been working since 2006 to build the global grassroots movement for emotional emancipation to help Black people overcome and overturn the root causes of the devaluing of Black lives: the lies of White superiority and Black inferiority. CHN's aim is to engage a critical mass of Black people in the movement for emotional emancipation by the year 2019, the 400th anniversary of the forced arrival of Africans in Virginia, so that by 2020 we, as a people, will begin to see ourselves in a whole new light. Because four hundred years of second class humanity are more than enough.

We need your help to reach our goal. Your contribution will allow us to:
  • respond to the over 550 requests for CHN's help from Black people in communities in crisis; 
  • train at least 405 local volunteers as Emotional Emancipation CircleSM leaders this year--toward our goal of training at least 2,019 leaders by the year 2019;
  • bring together, during this September's Congressional Black Caucus gathering, leaders of African ancestry from around the world for Valuing Black Lives: The Annual Global Emotional Emancipation SummitSM to develop action plans to free ourselves and our children from the lies of White superiority and Black inferiority-- once and for all.
