Dear Friends:

This #GivingTuesday, please help  Community Healing Network, Inc. (CHN) and the Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) support our brothers and sisters in Ferguson, Missouri, and people around the world decrying the continued devaluing of the lives of Black people.

Local leaders in Missouri have asked ABPsi and CHN to help people in and around Ferguson begin to heal. Dr. Cheryl Tawede Grills, immediate past president of ABPsi, CHN's partner in the development of Emotional Emancipation Circles (EECs), will travel to St. Louis (click here to read more about our participation as covered by the New York Times) at the end of this week to introduce EECs.

EECs are a ground-breaking grassroots process that CHN and ABPsi have developed to address the root cause of many of the challenges facing Black communities. EECs will help people in the Ferguson area begin to heal from recent injustices and from the ongoing trauma of racism.

You can support this effort with a contribution of $10.00 or more. We will use your donation in three ways:
  1. To defray the costs of supplies and materials for Ferguson EECs;
  2. To help develop a training video to share lessons learned with other communities like yours; and
  3. To help provide ongoing technical assistance to local leaders.
Giving is easy. Just click here or on the link below.

Thank you for your help.

From Enola Aird, Jill Snyder, Dottie Green, Natalie Roche, Wizdom Powell, Sheila Warren, Tarice Gray, Carl Miller, A.D. Carson, Margo Fugate, and Albert Gentry III, and all your friends at Community Healing Network, Inc.

Emotional Emancipation Circles, EE Circles, and EECs are service marks of Community Healing Network, Inc.
