Dear Friends:

Dr. Maya Angelou, who passed away this week, was a long-time friend of Community Healing Network and supporter of the movement for emotional emancipation. She served as the founding chair of our board of advisors. Her mighty words continue to inspire our work: "Take a day to heal from the lies that you've been told and the ones you've told yourself."

In that spirit, we cordially invite you to join us for a luncheon conversation on The Case for Emotional Emancipation on Friday, June 20, 2014. Our special guests will include Dr. Taasogle Daryl Rowe and Dr. Cheryl Tawede Grills, President and Immediate Past President of the Association of Black Psychologists.

We hope you will join us for this important healing event.

Sincerely,
Enola G. Aird
Founder and President
