Tips for Navigating toward Your Goals

"It is good to have an end to journey toward;
but it is the journey that matters in the end." - Ursula K. Le Guin

Start by carefully mapping your route. One of the most important components in reaching your goals is having a clear sense of what you want and the best ways to get there.  Too often, we spend more time setting goals than we do outlining the concrete steps that will get us there. Creating a strategy is critical to goal achievement.

There are multiple paths to any goal.  It's important to remember that no matter how carefully you plan, all projects hit roadblocks from time to time. Keys to moving through or beyond roadblocks are: creativity, flexibility, and adaptability.

Take stock of your progress on a regular basis.  Evaluate, document, and celebrate your wins along the way! Acknowledging your progress re-fuels your team ... sparking new energy for reaching your ultimate goals.
