Number of homeless children has reached an all time high
The day after Thanksgiving, I answered phone calls from two Bay Area mothers, who were desperately searching for shelter.  Yes, this was Thanksgiving weekend and it broke my heart to hear these mother's personal stories.  I realized how fortunate I am to be celebrating the holidays with family and friends in the comfort of my home.

Recent studies show that the number of homeless children in the nation has reached an all time high.  1 in every 30 children in the United States is experiencing homelessness.  We can change this trend by building more shelter and housing for the thousands of families in the Bay Area who do not have a home to sleep in tonight.
Shepherds Gate thank you
Today, we launch a new way to support a "shelter build" by targeting your donation to a specific HomeAid shelter project.  You can also support HomeAid with a general donation which will support the project most in need of financial support.  Thank you for your support!
