The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) has been given a stay of execution by the combined forces of all minor parties and independents in the Senate.

Family Law - Family Law Filing Fees: Changes from 13 July 2015  

On 13 July 2015, the Family Law (Fees) Amendment (2015 Measures No.1) Regulation 2015 (Cth) was signed and registered.  The new regulation made some significant changes to Family Law filing fees.

Employment & Discrimination - Uniform/Dress Codes: Employee Dismissed for Breach of 'Clean-Shaven' Policy

Often employers may choose to enforce strict uniform/dress codes and limitations on the personal physical appearance of employees in the interest of workplace health and safety. There is a question as to what extent employers can impose policies which impact upon the personal preferences of employees.
