Kensie Corney (Senior Associate) writes - Charities have not needed to register Business Names in the past. With the advent of the National Business Name regime they now need to or face penalties.
Some charities are finding that the names they have used as "Trading Names" are not available as business names. Acting sooner rather than later is important to seek to secure names that have significant goodwill attached to them.
